The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (WGSS) is an interdisciplinary program encompassing feminist studies, masculinity studies, and sexuality studies. Minerva also notes whether an item is on order or on loan (and when it is due back). Welcome to our recently re-launched UTSA Women's Studies Institute website! The project is an online collaboration of editors. Two primary intellectual impulses structure the Certificate in Feminist Studies: the genealogy of Women's Studies as an interdiscipline that marshals multiple disciplinary approaches to examine the constitution of gender and feminist critical practices; and the emergence of feminist theory as a field of inquiry that critically engages the project of knowledge production itself.
