If you report on the Congress, we would like to hear about it. For us, the 3ecm is not over, as we have to close the proceedings, the financial matters and all the thank-you correspondence to all people and institutions that have helped us. When we do this, it would be much valuable if we could add your points of view. We want to express our deepest thanks to all the speakers, and also to all the chairmen of lectures, round tables and mini-symposia. In the case of mini-symposia, it is to be acknowledged that they had a particularly difficult task, for they had to invite the corresponding speakers, coordinate their contributions and chair all the sessions.
My thanks go to the Scientific Committee headed by Sir Michael Atiyah, who put together a very interesting programme. Maybe, for my taste, I could have lived with a little bit more applied mathematics in the main lectures. Let me also thank Professor de Guzman and his Committee for finding excellent panelists for round tables. Finally, the EMS is thankful to the Prize Committees and their chairs, Professor Lions for EMS prizes and Professor Neunzert for the Felix Klein prize. I wish to you all that you learn not only a lot of mathematics but that you make many new friends and, last but not least, have a few hours of leisure to learn about the local culture, Barcelona and its people.
